The M Network at The Center on Halsted

The Center on Halsted and The Feast of Fools have joined forces and proudly kicked off the inagural M Network Event this past Monday evening.

The M Network is a place where men and their admirers can gather on select Mondays once a month for music, food, conversation and entertainment during this monthly "Bar-ternative" event.

This past Monday night we were treated to a brief performance by the artist - Tim Miller.  Tim was one of the NEA-4, a group of performance artsists who were denied funding from the NEA because of the "type" of performances that they created.  It was an privlige to see someone of such caliber up close, doing what he does best - performing.  There's a short clip of him in the video where he's telling us about his oldest memory (it involves sperm & egg), don't miss it.

We were also treated to a funny performance by comedian Adam Guerino where he shocked the audience by sharing some really big secrets with us that no one should really share.  He kept us in stitches.

The Center on Halsted plans to have monthly programs, hosted by the lovely boys of The Feast of Fools.net - the hosts with the mosts, Fausto Fernos and Marc Felion.

The inaugural event went off without a hitch due to the diligent planning and work done by CC Carter's intern (the ever so cute) Christopher.  Christopher's senior project was to create, develop, plan and organize The M Network Events for the next year.  He put a lot of work into this event and it really shows - Great Job Christopher!!!!  I had a great time and met several nice guys and really enjoyed the view of the city from the deck at the Center on Halsted, it was the perfect summer evening to spend with new friends.

The M Network is a monthly event and there's another one coming up rather quickly, so mark your calendars.
