It's not just for bikers and sailors anymore! An online poll conducted in January 2008 by Harris Interactive estimated that 14% of all adults in the United States have at least one tattoo.
So now bikers, saliors, and business professionals alike can show off their tats at the Denver Tattoo Convention, which is claiming to be the first-ever environmentally friendly tattoo event. Tickets are available at the door and cost $15 per day or $35 for the entire weekend. And no need to hire a sitter for the event -- kids 14 and under get in for free. And think, is it really ever too early to get a "Mom" tattoo?
Though I will probably not be attending, I am - on my husband's request - accepting green-themed art submissions to be tattooed as a quarter sleeve. Just kidding Mom. But if you do send one, I'll post it and finagle a green story around it.
