President-elect Barack Obama has been busy stocking his cabinet with his newly appointed environmental staff: Steven Chu - the director of the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory - as his energy secretary, and Nancy Sutley - deputy mayor of Los Angeles for energy and environment - as head of the White House Council on Environmental Quality. He’s also been busy trying to solve our economy crisis and energy crisis simultaneously (or at least get a start on it) by creating thousands of new energy jobs. Tuesday, Obama met with green guru Al Gore to the opportunities to change global warming from a problem to an opportunity.

What do you think about Obama’s appointments and his idea to use one problem to solve another?
