Usually sleepy Lafayette is teeming with activity this weekend. After you get your green fix at the Living Green festival, stop at the the Lafayette Public Library and check out the "Huge Used Book Sale." Thumb through copies of gently used classics and thumb your nose at Borders and Barnes and Noble.

Give an old treasure a new life, for cheap! Hardcovers for $3 and paperbacks for $2. DVDs, CDs, videos and audio tapes for $1. Kids' books, 50 cents.

The sale is hosted by the Friends of the Lafayette Public Library and will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The library is located at 775 West Baseline Rd.
