Monta Ellis: Began on-site rehab with Warriors

It’s been a while, but Warriors guard Monta Ellis was at the team’s practice facility on Tuesday.

Ellis, who suffered a serious left ankle injury in a September moped accident, hasn’t been to 1011 Broadway, home of the Warriors, since Nov. 14.

But Ellis began his on-site rehab with the Warriors, strengthening the ankle and doing related fitness work, according to the team.

On Tuesday, Ellis spent a good chunk of the Warriors’ practice on the treadmill.

Ellis, who is serving a 30-game suspension, is eligible to play on Dec. 19, at Atlanta.

But he will likely return later than that.

In other related Warriors news:

Stephen Jackson is listed as day-to-day with a moderate sprained wrist.

Corey Maggette is listed as day-to-day with a strained right hamstring.

Brandan Wright did not practice because of flu-like symptoms.

C.J. Watson has been cleared to play without his elbow brace.

Anthony Randolph, who has a sprained left hand, practiced on Tuesday.
