It probably wasn't so much as being a Yao-stopper with Al Harrington, it was more what he demanded of Yao Ming at the offensive end.
Yao got plenty of points against Harrington the past couple of years. But there were stretches of offensive ineffectiveness and arriving late out to Harrington at the defensive end.
In other words, believe it or not, the Warriors don't have that Harrington advantage for tonight's game at Houston.
Interesting how Harrington seems to get better the longer he's gone.
More from post at Comcast Sports Net Bay Area.
What Warriors coach Don Nelson seemed to imply Thursday during practice was the Warriors were likely going to defend Yao more traditionally in tonight's game.
As always with Nelson, we'll see.
