See, that’s exactly the kind of game that bothers Warriors fans -- games just like that 127-120 loss to Indy on Wednesday.

It’s not so much the loss itself, or the fact that the Warriors have now lost 13 of 15 or even that the Warriors are now 7-19 overall.

It’s the fact that for whatever reason second-year forward Brandan Wright barely plays and rookie Anthony Randolph doesn’t even play at all.

Not only that, they're actually not getting into a game in which ostensibly two of your starters are out: Monta Ellis and Corey Maggette.

And Warriors fans think: What’s the point of struggling and rebuilding if you’re not even going to play your key rookie and second-year player?

Warriors fans don't care about the whys, wherefores and whatevers about the matchups and small-ball and all that stuff. All they know is the Warriors aren't very good AND their so-called young talent isn't playing.

It’s obvious by now that Warriors coach Don Nelson is not a Wright fan.

The more you watch Wright the more you see why.

Rarely, if ever, does Wright rebound in traffic and he frequently gets dislodged or just plain moved out of the picture.

While his stats always look OK, Wright’s problem is he seems to have a bigger impact in the boxscore than actually on the court.

So, yeah, he’s not a banger.

That doesn’t excuse Nelson for how little he uses Wright. But it does provide him the excuse he needs.

You can use the rationalization all you want that the Jason Richardson-for-Wright trade was a lot about salary cap implications.

No matter. If this is really the way it is, and Wright’s only good enough to play this much on this team, then that really was an awful trade.

It means you traded your heart-and-soul for a rotation player.

As for Randolph, yes he’s a rookie and he’s raw and all that stuff.

And there is some merit to the whole tough love thing that some say Nelson is selling.

But for goodness sakes, give him tough love every game … along with some consistent playing time.

If Wright and Randolph aren't going to play now, when are they going to play?
