Al Harrington: He needs to explain his back situation

Al Harrington may have been delivered safe and sound to the New York Knicks, but he still has some explaining to do.

That little thing about his back.

Of course, when it was announced Harrington had a back injury last week, it was greeted with rolled eyes and snickers from Warriors fans.

Perhaps rightfully so.

On Wednesday, when Harrington was still a member of the Warriors, the team put out a release that he wouldn't travel with the team and wouldn't even return to the court until after Thanksgiving.

Link to Harrington timetable.

And since the Warriors are on the road through Saturday, it put the earliest possible return for Harrington on Monday, Dec. 1.

But the New York Daily News is reporting that Harrington plans on playing for the Knicks on Tuesday when they take on Cleveland.

New York Daily News story.

Not cool, Al.

One more quick thing ... Former Warrior forward Antawn Jamison finds himself on the 1-10 Washington Wizards at this point. He's comparing this year to past years with the Warriors.

Only he says this year is worst.
