Jamal Crawford is coming and Al Harrington is heading out.
That might be all ... or there might be more.
First, the credit. Here is a link to Mark Stein's story and Marcus Thompson's story.
Stein is reporting that it's a one-for-one deal, but there is a chance that could change.
Some quick notes:
First off, the real significance of this trade for the Warriors is that it seems clear: They're trying to win now and make the playoffs.
Any notion of future cap space for the next three years or so is gone.
They're looking at having approximately five players -- Monta Ellis, Andris Biedrins, Stephen Jackson, Corey Maggette and Jamal Crawford -- all making about $10 million or so in 2010-11.
The rest of the roster will likely be made up of lesser-paid role players.
The good news is Crawford -- despite being a high-volume shooter -- fits into the Warriors' system and can certainly play alongside Monta Ellis.
I've also heard that a third team might be involved -- the Los Angeles Clippers -- with names such as Tim Thomas, Cuttino Mobley and Zach Randolph being thrown around.
At this point I can't confirm that, however.
Obviously, more to come.
