A few tidbits from the Warriors' Tuesday morning shootaround:
♦ No Corey Maggette tonight against the Timberwolves. His hamstring (does it matter which one?) still isn't fully healed, and coach Don Nelson said he needs another day or two.
Thursday against the Pistons looks realistic.
Maggette has missed the past three games because of the injury.
♦ Nelson couldn't resist getting a dig in at Al Harrington's agent, Dan Fegan.
Nelson was asked if he thought Harrington would ever play for the Warriors again.
Harrington is currently nursing a back injury, and according to Fegan, will need to rest for two weeks.
Nelson said he absolutely thought Harrington would play for the Warriors if he wasn't traded in the meantime.
"I'm assuming, yeah, if we don't make a move," Nelson said. "If we don't trade him. I heard in the paper today ... two weeks (out with injured back). Yeah, from Doctor Fegan."
♦ Lastly, Larry Harris, hired by the Warriors as an assistant coach, was at the shoot-around at Oracle Arena.
Harris, the son of long-time coach Del Harris, has done a lot of NBA jobs, including most recently a five-year stint as general manager of the Milwaukee Bucks.
This will his first time on the bench, although he has done coaching in various summer leagues.
"He's a good man," Nelson said of Larry Harris. "He's done about every job ... he started in the film room and worked his way up from dishwasher to general manager."
