One of the more interesting games on display at this year's E3 was Pangya Fantasy Golf, a PSP golf game with Japanese RPG elements thrown in.
The game plays like any golf game you're used to, except that it has customizable anime-style characters and allows you to use things like potions and magic rings to help your shots. It also features cute little creatures that follow your ball around on the course and help you out.
Doing well out on the course means you can earn money to purchase new clubs, clothing and other options for your golfer. There's a story mode that plays out differently depending upon which character you play. The game also features ad-hoc multiplayer for up to eight players.
Golf isn't typically my thing, but I could see myself getting into this game. Pangya Fantasy Golf is due release later this month.
