No luck getting your free pint of Starbucks ice cream on Facebook?
Keep trying (check here for more information), but perhaps easier will be checking out Ben & Jerry's new upside down truck full of ice cream when it comes to Seattle this weekend. During this National Ice Cream Month of July, Ben & Jerry’s is celebrating the launch of its newest ice cream invention: Flipped Out.
What?
Seems that Ben & Jerry’s Flavor Guru literally flipped out the traditional Ben & Jerry’s ice cream and turned it upside down so that it could be opened and enjoyed from the bottom as a personal-sized sundae. This way, you can immediately enjoy the cookie and fudge goodness on the bottom of the container. The Flipped Out flavors are Vanilla Fudge Brownie, Peanut Butter Chocolate, and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough.
You have three chances to get free samples at the truck:
Still too tough? Well, then, here's an even easier way to get a freebie: Simply be one of the first (U.S. based) 35 readers to send an email to FlippedOut@benjerry.com saying “Ben & Jerry’s, I’ve Flipped Out” and mentioning that you're a reader of the Seattle Restaurant Examiner. Ben & Jerry's will then send you a coupon that you can use at Fred Meyer, QFC, Safeway, and most Albertsons stores in the Seattle area. It's that easy to Flip Out!
