Word on the street this morning is that Moxie, the Lower Queen Anne serving "food with nerve," will be closing its doors this weekend. Coming soon to that location: Vietnamese cuisine. I hope it's more like Green Leaf and Tamarind Tree than Racha.

Speaking of Tamarind Tree (vermicelli dish pictured), opening today (you might want to double-check this before making big plans, as opening dates are always in flux) in the old Qube location is Long Provincial Restaurant - the next venture by TT's owners. I'm really curious to see what they do with that space, and if they can succeed in that unlucky spot. My hunch is that they'll make it something special.
