It’s closing in on September in San Francisco and that can mean many things.  The best weather of the year.  Opening nights at the Opera and Symphony.  The kids are finally back in school.

It also means it’s the 2009 Architecture + the City festival!

Of course, you recall last year’s festival and especially the San Francisco Living Home Tour.  The Home Tour is back again September 12 and 13 and features eleven homes throughout the city.  Architecture + City 2009 includes much more—an opening party, lectures, films, dinners, exhibits, you name it.

This is the sixth year the festival has been presented by the American Institute of Architects San Francisco and the lineup of events is good.  If you’re interested in architecture or just plain curious about what’s going on in San Francisco, don’t miss it.
