The Midwest Antiquarian Booksellers Association is comprised of 100 book vendors from the American midwest and Canada. They'll hold their 19th annual Book Fair this weekend at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds in St. Paul. Regional vendors will offer rare, antiquarian, and out of print books, as well as modern literature, children's books, cookbooks, maps and militaria, among other genres.
The sale runs from 4 to 9 pm on Friday, June 26th, and 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday, June 27th. The Book Fair will take place in the Progress Center, building number 18 on the map. It's located just inside gate 4, near the intersection of Snelling and Randall. Parking is free, though there is a fee for admission. Tickets for Friday are $6.00, and $5.00 on Saturday, though you can print a coupon for $1.00 off the ticket price. MWABA donates a portion of ticket sales to libraries and various causes that promote literacy.
