Tweet to the wave of the future! Halloween Twitter style
Social media has grown in leaps and bounds lately and Twitter is keeping up with this viral trend. If you follow mega companies on Twitter, you know most of the cool stuff before it hits CNN or MSNBC.
Take Halloween for instance. Pepsi (@pepsi) twittered their new edition cans just for Halloween. Here was the tweet: “This Halloween, we decided to dress up our products, too! Check out these limited edition Halloween cans: http://bit.ly/D8vK3:18 PM Oct 26th.” The link sent followers to a Facebook page that had a photo of ghoulish cans.
Under the photo it said: “We didn’t want out cans to feel left out this Halloween, so we dressed them up, too. :) Look for these limited edition Pepsi cans in the Halloween Section of your local Walmart!”
That was a very smart move for Pepsi. It looks like this soft drink mega company is keeping up with the social media trends of today.
