Steve McNair murder takes new twist in investigation by CBS (video)

Former Titans star, Steve McNair, was brutally murdered on July 4th by his girlfriend, Sahel Kazemi, and then she turned the gun on herself. At least that’s what Nashville police initially said after the horrifying event took place.
This morning, a CBS Early Show investigation suggested that maybe, Adrian Gilliam Jr., the man who supposedly sold Kazemi the murder weapon, a 9 mm pistol, could also be involved.
Gilliam told police he didn’t know Kazemi but CBS revealed the two knew each other and had sent text messages and called each other hundreds of times over the weeks prior to the murders.
Nashville police are scrambling to save face in light of this investigative journalism. The big question here is, why didn’t they look into every aspect of this double murder? Why didn’t they know that Kazemi and Gilliam knew each other? Were they so inept that they took the word of a known killer as the truth? More information as it happens.
