The league reinstated Adam "Pacman" Jones on Wednesday. He will only have limited participation in practices with the Dallas Cowboys this week and will miss two games prior to his return to the field.
His teammates seem happy to have him back. Here's what Tony Romo had to say:
“When he was here he worked very hard and he helped us. He’s a good football player and I don’t see why you wouldn’t welcome a guy back that works hard on the practice field.”
Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones sounds like he's on a tape loop. Call me crazy but his statements today sound the same as the ones from training camp:
“He has demonstrated something very important to all of us,”
And of course his attorney is all over this like a cheap suit...
“The real issue was more than allegations of an incident at a Dallas hotel,” Robinson said. “There were personal issues that, until addressed, there was a likelihood of another incident occurring.”
I guess that means his alcohol counseling. Let the games begin, again. Hey, what are the odds he can't behave between now and his first game?
