Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA to its friends and fans) has made a splash with a public offer to Governor Sarah Palin. She can earn an extra $50,000 for her favorite charity or an Alaskan hockey team of her choice.
All she needs to do is appear in Orlando, FL (that's in the lower 48 as she likes to say) at TNA's December 7th pay-per-view event called "Final Resolution." Sounds like someone will be annhilated, but I'm sure it's all good, clean fun.
Palin will be asked to become an honorary member of TNA's "Beautiful People," an elite group within its TNA "Knockouts" corps, led by the lovely ladies named Velvet Sky and Angelina Love. Although having looked at the photos of Ms. Love and Ms. Sky, I don't know if she is worthy of joining that august group.
In addition to the press release TNA is ready to make the offer on television tonight during its TNA Impact program broadcast on Spike TV (check your local cable or satellite channel guides) at 9 p.m. EST.
What else can one say after that gracious offer but...yes! Gov. Palin has not taken this opportunity to rest up, get back to her daily routine and be out of the public eye. She has appeared on national television in the last week not only with Fox News and CNN but also in an exclusive one-on-one interview with Matt Lauer on the Today show.
Will Palin think that this is great exposure for her and better than dropping the puck at an NHL game, as she did during the campaign? Well, if its exposure you want just check out the screen shots in the TNA "Knockouts" group. Yowzer.
