Multi-Card reader, left, and All-In-One, right.

At long, long last, those of you who use an obscene number of SD cards and the like will have something attractive to sit on your desk and read those cards. Notoriously ugly since Zip drives were the big thing, multi-card readers are now getting a makeover by SanDisk and not a moment too soon.

Two types will be released, one of which is an 'All-In-One' reader which has four total slots and capable of reading a multitude of cards, and the smaller version which is simply the 'Multi-Card' reader which has one slot for several different types of cards. Both of these new card readers are sleek black and mounted vertically on an attractive silver stand. The larger 'All-In-One' unit will retail for $29.99 and the smaller 'Multi-Card' reader will retail for $19.99. Apparently these babies have already been shipped to retailers so get in line. I know I will.
