Every day UPS drivers sit in traffic, lift heavy items and deal with the stress of making sure packages are received on time. Not only is the work physically challenging, but it's also mentally draining. When we're mentally tired, we lose focus, which for UPS employees can lead to serious work related injuries (ever lift a heavy package the wrong way?) and loss of productivity (which means fewer packages at our doorstep before Christmas eve).

One UPS branch in California has decided to be “Safe by Choice, Not by Chance” and is offering employees free yoga classes as part of a new wellness program. The drivers report feeling more balanced and on the job injuries are at an all time low. Check out the CNN video below (thanks to Infuse Yoga Spa for picking this video up on their blog).
