Next Food Network Star contestant, Jen Isham, expected to pucker up to a glass of homemade lemonade during a dinner date with her then boyfriend, Gabe. But she didn't expect the tart lemons to be served with a super sweet marriage proposal.

The couple's destination red and white wedding was artfully documented in The Knot magazine, showcasing Isham's flair for party planning and the debut of her Housewife 2.0 lifestyle.

Catch Isham Sunday night, 9 p.m. East, during the Next Food Network Star finale. You can also follow Jen on her Housewife 2.0 blog www.jenisham.blogspot.com, and on Twitter at www.twitter.com/jen_gabel_isham.

Jen Isham's Lemonade Recipe

Ingredients:
8 cups water
1/4 cups sugar
1 Tablespoon lemon zest, plus extra for garnish
1 Teaspoon of lime zest, plus a little extra for garnish
1 1/2 cups fresh lemon juice (5-7 medium lemons)
Thin lemon slices
Fresh mint Chiffonade ( cut into thin strips or ribbons)

Directions:
Heat 2 cups of the water in a saucepan over medium high heat. Add the sugar and stir until it dissolves creating a sugar syrup. In a pitcher, mix the sugar syrup with the remaining water, lemon zest, and lemon juice, stirring to combine all the ingredients well. Put in the fridge to chill for at least an hour. Serve in glasses with ice and garnish with the zest, lemon slices and mint
