Robert Downey Jr. in Iron Man 2

New photos from the set of Iron Man 2 have popped up on the Internet.

The film is being shot on locations in Los Angeles, the famed Monaco Grand Prix raceway in Monte Carlo, Monaco, Edwards Airforce Base and at Downey Studios in Downey, California.

Iron Man 2 will open in theaters on May 7, 2010.  The sequel is being directed by Jon Favreau and also stars Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Jon Favreau, Mickey Rourke, Sam Rockwell, Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, Garry Shandling, John Slattery, Kate Mara and Clark Gregg.

For those moviegoers that can't get enough of the Iron Man star, he will appear in Guy Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes hitting theaters this Christmas.
