Still from Summit Entertainment's The Hurt Locker.

Trailer Addict has released a sneak peek at the first 8-minutes from The Hurt Locker.

According to Trailer Addict, the movie is a great character study of 3 different ranks in the army. One being the wild card with the "I can do anything" fatalistic attitude who has been enlisted for so long he cant interface with back home society. Another with an approach with caution, we must stay safe attitude. Lastly, the young kid who thinks experience is something you automatically have just because your in Baghdad, yet when push comes to shove he's a coward.

There are great guest appearances by Guy Pearce, David Morse, and Ralph Fiennes in small but memorable roles. In addition to storyline, the weapons in it are top notch with one in particular being the Barrett 50 caliber sniper rifle.

Critics all seem to agree this is one of the year's better movies.

The Hurt Locker is being distributed by Summit Entertainment and has been rated R for war violence and language. The movie has a total running time of 131 minutes.
