BLT Pasta Salad

Bacon, Lettuce & Tomato Macaroni Salad – A twist on the classic BLT Sandwich! Use spiral pasta to hold more Italian dressing, add crisp bacon, romaine lettuce and vine-ripened tomatoes. Great for lunch, brunch or supper!

Bacon Lettuce & Tomato Pasta Salad Recipe

  • 1 pound box dry pasta (spirals, farfalle or bow ties, medium shells, etc)
  • 1/2 pound bacon
  • 1 head romaine lettuce, chopped small
  • 4 medium Roma tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/2 - 3/4 cup Creamy Italian Salad Dressing, regular, lite or zesty
  • 1 teaspoon Mrs Dash Garlic & Herb seasoning, or salt & pepper, more or less to taste

How To Make a BLT Salad

  • Cook pasta according to directions on box. Drain and chill until ready to assemble salad.
  • Cook bacon until crispy. Drain on paper towels. Crumble when cool.
  • Combine cooked pasta, lettuce, tomatoes and crumbled bacon in a large serving bowl.
  • Fold in salad dressing just enough to moisten all the ingredients. Start out with 1/2 cup. If you'd like more, add the remaining 1/4 cup.
  • Season to taste.
  • Serve immediately, or refrigerate until ready to use.
  • Serves 8-10.
