COLORFUL MINI MARSHMALLOWS for AMBROSIA

A retro favorite of families everywhere, this easy ambrosia is not only colorful, but delicious too! Sweet pineapple, mandarin oranges, mini colored marshmallows and coconut, all mixed with sour cream. Ambrosia - it'll bring back sweet memories!

"Retro" Salads

Is there an official category for Retro Salads? If there were, Ambrosia would most likely be one of the Top 5! I would classify Retro Salads as yummy, comforting salads like Jello Molds, Layered Jello Rainbow Salad, Jellied Sunshine Salad, Pink Stuff, Waldorf Salad, Carrot & Raisin Salad, Pistachio Pudding Salad, and all those other colorful and weird salads Grandma used to make for Sunday dinner!

Easy Ambrosia Recipe

  • 1) 20 ounce can pineapple tidbits or chunks, drained
  • 1) 15 ounce can mandarin oranges, drained
  • 1) 16 ounce container sour cream
  • 1) 10 ounce bag colored mini marshmallows
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded sweetened coconut

How To Make Ambrosia

  • Drain pineapple and mandarin oranges, and mix with sour cream.
  • Fold in marshmallows and coconut.
  • Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
