We assume specialty vegan restaurants in big cities like Los Angeles are looking out for us vegans, making sure our food is cruelty-free and completely plant-based.  Well I have bad news for you:

In what looks like a photo set of pregnancy tests is the result of piles of money and time spent meticulously testing LA vegan restaurants for sources of egg, casein (a milk protein), and shellfish.

Apparently, this comes as no surprise to the blog having already found questionable ingredients in the dumpster of a supposedly vegan restaurant. (Below)

My readers have also been disappointed by the reports of faux fur being tested positive for the fur of a freaking racoon.  I wasn't so worried about that, but vegan restaurants?
