Boca foods has announced they will no longer use eggs in their meatless products leaving some of them still not vegan.
A website maintained by Compassion over Killing and Mercy for Animals has encouraged visitors to tell Boca to remove eggs from their products.
I wonder if these organizations have been told about the cruelty that exists with dairy cows who are exploited just the same for ingredients in some boca products. Why not just ask Boca to go vegan?
The website now displays images that say "victory" sending the message to consumers that two animal welfare organizations endorse non-vegan food.
Nevertheless, if the current ingredients stay the same, we can expect for most of Boca's products like their famous burgers and sausages to go vegan.
Competitor Gardenburger made a similar promise years back to remove eggs from numerous (but not all) products and now offers a number of vegan options starred on their website.
