Pumpkin bread pudding with cajeta

Calling all vegetarians, and anyone who just likes their veggies: The Tortilla Press,  a BYOB Mexican in Collingswood, N.J., on Thursday, Oct. 1, is serving up a five-course, fall-themed vegetarian feast for $25.

The “Veggin' Out" meal will begin with an appetizer of mini spinach, potato and leek tacos with goat cheese, pine nuts and smoked sweet chile, followed by a salad of fire-grilled cactus leaves and quinoa with lemon oregano vinaigrette, and roasted mushroom and barley soup with chile fried mushroom chips.

The dinner continues with an entrée of  black bean and cheese gorditas with guajillo chile sauce and Mexican creme, served over cilantro rice, and wraps up with a dessert of pumpkin bread pudding with cajeta, a carmelized milk sauce, or vegan coconut flan.
