The Terrace at Thirteen

"Before the Shore" is the name of a new happy hour officially kicking off on June 11–– and running every Thursday through September –– at The Terrace at Thirteen at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown.
Running from 5 to 8 p.m., the event promises a soundtrack of live reggae and beach-themed music, as well as a raft of food and drink specials.
On offer are jerk chicken skewers, pork sliders and garlic chili shrimp and other small plates in the $2.50 to $7 range, along with $3 glasses of sangria (and $12 pitchers), $3 Corona beers and $5 margaritas.
Also, Thirteen's patio is shielded by an awning, making this an all-weather affair.
Even if you're just apres-work –– and not ocean-bound –– "Before the Shore" promises to put you in a resort-y mood for your trip home.
