Chadd of Utah is sponsoring special evening ADHD workshops on Tuesday October 13 in conjunction with 13th Annual "Critical Issues Facing Children and Asolescents Conference." The conference will be held at the Salt Lake City Marriott Downtown.
The sessions are intended for teachers, school administrators, school psychologists, counselors, mental health and medical professionals, parents of children with ADHD and/or other learning disabilities, and anyone who works with children who might have problems with deficits in executive function.
The two special sessions will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. "ADHD through the eyes of the conductor: The role of executive function in attentional disorders. This session will be presented by Peter Isquity, Ph.D., pediatric neuropsychologist and co-author of the Behavior Rating Inventory of Executive Functions. "Right brain, left brain, hey, what about the front brain: understanding executive functioning deficits and how they affect children's learning. This will be presented by Adam Schwebach, Ph.D. Pediatric Neuropsychologist at the University of Utah, also a certified school psychologist.
