Caring for our children with special needs is a full time job. Whether we are working moms and dads, stay at home moms and dads, or a little of both, caring for our special needs child can often take a toll on our marriage, our relationships, our finances and our mental and physical health. We put our needs on hold as we do our best to provide a fullfilling life for our children. But next weekend there is an opportunity to put your needs as a cargiver in the forefront and receive a little respite yourself by attending the Utah County Special Needs Conference.
The Utah Parent Center and Kids On The Move is offering a weekend exclusively for the caregiver. The "Empowering the Caregiver" conference will be held Saturday, November 14th at Mountain View High School in Orem. The conference will offer workshops, lunches, door prizes and free respite care to attendees.
