Cocktail delivery is now available in San Francisco. It's such a brilliant and completely overdue concept. We have all been buying wine, ultra-fancy and horrific, for some time in every great wine shop and bodega in town at 3am so it's only fair that we can finally enjoy some great cocktail fare at home.

The boys at local Cocktail Temple Rye just instituted an at-home cocktail delivery service called Rye on the Road. Pick your favorite drinks, dial up and your party is on the way. I love it! These drinks are packaged so you can pour and mix all the fresh ingredients, in the comfort of your home, when you get them. The only limitation for a small gathering might be the 50-person minimum. However if your guests, like mine, hold their own this shouldn't be an issue for a small gathering.

So maybe we'll finally be able to understand which drinks pair best with pot stickers and that great green tea leaf salad?

Cheers,

Liza the Wine Chick

What I am reading:

I love Buenos Aires even when I am not reminded how much I love it. So how could I not wax poetic about The Authentic Bars, Cafes and Restaurants of Buenos Aires by Gabriela Kogan (published by The Little Bookroom). Beautiful black and white photos complement insights on neighborhoods and advice on the best (what isn't good in BA?) things to eat and drink.
