With the bounty of delicious cocktails and wines that surround us in San Francisco it might be difficult to choose a top 100, but I am going to try (and hone the list over a couple of months). For starters, I won't want to leave SF temporarily or permanently without drinking:
1) A Napa Sour, made by barman extraordinaire Marco Dionysos, at CLOCK BAR in the St. Francis, It's a divine combination of the house special Napa Cab blended with Bourbon.

2) A great Italian rose, anything else currently on offer, on the list at Ottimista on Union Street when the weather is nice and you can snack on simple pastas and divine arancini (Sicilian rice balls).
3) A simple bottle of almost any of wines on the list at É Angelo on Chestnut, while waiting to be seated or during your meal.
4) Just one perfect Negroni at Bourbon and Branch, while having a perfectly private conversation in one of this classic locale's booths.
5) Some great unusual French wine by the glass at Amelie on Polk.
Cheers,
