The Anthropologie on Boylston Street hosted an invite-only event on Tuesday, celebrating the premiere of Sundance Channel’s new series trailing Keith Johnson, buyer-at-larger for Anthropologie, on his global expeditions.

Industry insiders and bold-faced names attended the private shopping-event and exclusive screening, with proceeds of the evening’s sales benefitting the Association of Independent Colleges of Art and Design.

Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed cocktails and dishes inspired by the cultures featured in episodes of “Man Shops Globe” at themed vignettes stationed throughout Market Street ’s Anthropologie store.

“Man Shops Globe” follows Johnson as he scours the globe for unique found objects, from flea markets in Paris to remote villages in India . Dedicating six months each year to travel and research, Keith uncovers unique and one-of-a-kind pieces of art, including decorative objects, furniture, textiles and crafts, which serve as inspiration for commissioned works that are produced and sold in Anthropologie stores. The series premiered Wednesday, October 7, on Sundance Channel.
