Over the course of the 2009 PDL season it became clear that Tony Kerr had emerged as one of the leaders of the club. The Pumas and Kerr like their partnership and it was recently announced that Kerr will re-join Kitsap for the 2010 season.
“It is a proud moment. I’m delighted to know that I’m going to be a part of such a great organization as it continues to grow and there is no other club I wish to be playing with at this stage of my career. I expect big things next year for us,” said Kerr in the official club press release.
“Tony is a class guy in every respect and represents our club fantastically well. Most important is the fact that he’s a great player, a complete player,” said executive director Ben Pecora. “We are pleased to have Tony in the fold as we move rapidly forward toward 2010.”
Kerr, a member of England’s National Beach Soccer Team (12 caps, 7 goals), hails from the Isle of Wight.
