The Kitsap Pumas continue their off-season planning. The club should have at least one big announcement coming up in November. Meanwhile, some players and coaches will be taking over the Silverdale McDonald's tomorrow (Wednesday, November 4) between 6-8 PM for a youth soccer fundraiser (see press release below).

Kitsap Pumas fans are organizing right now, too. The "Hellcats" fan / supporters group will plan further support of the club in 2010. They have debuted a news site at www.Hellcats.us that also links to a members-only Facebook page. West Sound soccer fans and Pumas supporters everywhere are encouraged to join in.

Bremerton, Wash.  – The Kitsap Soccer Club will be taking over the Silverdale Way McDonald’s in Silverdale, Wash., Wednesday, November 4, 2009 from 6-8 p.m.

The event is called a “McTakeOver” and a portion of all sales during that time period will go directly toward funding soccer training with Pumas players and coaches for under-privileged kids.

Players and coaches will be on hand to meet, greet and sign autographs.

Team members and staff will also be selling season tickets - including the already famous “Kids Season Pass.”

For only $25 children 4-12 will receive a pass to attend ALL 2010 Pumas exhibition and regular-season matches. Adults purchasing a season ticket will receive either ten percent off of the $110 price (minimum 11 matches) or a FREE, OFFICIAL Pumas team scarf.

“Who knows? There may also be some special prizes and drawings!” said Ila Jensen, head of the Pumas’ burgeoning “Cubs” program dedicated to early-stage training and play for kids ages three-to-nine. “Having the organization out for this event will really make a difference for so many area kids. It’s going to be fun!”

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Pumas' youth development fund - which means pennies from the purchase of your Big Mac will allow Kitsap children to play The Beautiful Game!!!

Puma youth players will also be selling discount coupon books that will allow you to SAVE big bucks on all of your favorite McDonald's items.

The Silverdale McDonald’s is located at 10444 Silverdale Way NW, Silverdale, Wash.

Don't miss us!!! Please join in as the Pumas take over the Silverdale McDonald's!!!
