Seattle Sounders FC minority owner Drew Carey has once again demonstrated both his love for soccer and his generous nature.
We learned from a blog by Seattle Sounders captain Danny Jackson that Mr. Carey paid in full for the cast of "The Price Is Right" game show to fly to Buenos Aires to watch the classic rivalry between River Plate and Boca Juniors.
Says Jackson in his blog, "After breakfast, many of us headed to Recoleta, to see the famous cemetery and flea market. We had practice at 4pm, and then dinner at Ricardo's house (our host). We arrived at his beautiful home, to find Drew Carey and the entire cast of The Price Is Right sipping wine and eating some of the great food. He had flown everyone down for the River / Boca game, so they could experience why he was so passionate about soccer. We enjoyed a wonderful evening of Tango dancing, steak, and good red wine."

Drew is a co-owner of Seattle Sounders FC and has spoken publicly about his new soccer club. In fact, it was Carey who came to Seattle the day before Major League Soccer announced Seattle's awarding of a team. He met with fans at the packed "The George & Dragon" pub in Fremont to announce his involvement. See video from that visit below.
