Saturday night, the New England Revolution play the second leg of their home-and-away aggregate goal Eastern Conference Semifinal series against the Chicago Fire in Bridgeview, Illinois. Having won the first game 2-1, the Revolution need a win or a tie to advance to the Eastern Conference Championship where they would face Real Salt Lake. Thursday night, RSL shut the door on 2008 MLS Cup Champion Columbus Crew.

This is the fifth consecutive time the Revolution and Fire have met in the conference semifinals and the eighth time overall.
