Congresswoman Sheila Jackson-Lee wants a congressional resolution honouring the late pop star. Al Sharpton believes MJ paved the Obama road to the White House. The media, as well as many of you, have gone stark raving mad trying to make him immortal. Isn't it a bit much?
I won't delve into the various child molestation accusations or the fact that he paid millions for a child to keep mum. That business was between him and God. Besides, I only have one point to make and it's this: why aren't the Sheila Jackson-Lee's and the Al Sharpton's of this world trying to commemorate these people with postage stamps?
All are U.S. service members who died during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom in the month of June alone. So, if you're one of those individuals in need of a little perspective, then I hope this has given you some.
