And a happy Monday to you all.
Since beginning this series, I have been contacted with compliment and criticism. Some write to say "bravo" and the like. Some write to say something more towards, "welcome to the club that started way before you got here".
Either way, I love that the conversation is going on. I am perfectly aware that I didn't invent film in Colorado, but I'm also aware that there is room to grow.
What is extremely positive about this experience thus far, is that we have received a surprisingly large number of hits and generated interest far beyond what I would have thought. That says to me that there is a proactive force out there, who agree with the notion that Colorado isn't Hollywood, doesn't need to be, but that our resources are sorely undervalued and underutilized.
Therefore, for those in the mood, I call upon you to add to this conversation further.
If you have read the preceding articles you will know that we have suggested possible solutions and catalysts to this issue. Some are good ideas and some are far fetched.
Add your two pence. Give a hoot and holler back on your ideas for change, criticisms of the current status or whatever you think may be of service to this effort.
Are we just silly for even trying to upset what already is? I should hope not.
Also, for any of you attending Ritter's signing on June 4th, I look forward to seeing you there and meeting those in the know around here.
Like I said before, its on. For those unfamiliar with lazy slang terms, that just means we're bringing this game to the next level.
