In honor of Earth Day, this year Poste Moderne Brasserie will be reopening it’s outdoor garden with a party to honor Farm Fresh Markets. For an inexpensive after work date that’s eco-friendly, you might want to think about stopping by the Chinatown hotspot this Wednesday, April 22nd. For just $10.00 ($5.00 a person), you and your date can sample a variety of cheeses from Cowgirl Creamery, and wines from local vineyards. Participating wineries include Kluge Estates, Pollak Vineyards, and Thibaut-Jannison Winery. A special menu will be on hand, available only in The Garden at Poste; mixologist Rico Wisner will be stirring up his own punch, and French microbrewery beers will be available as well.
The party starts at 5:00pm, but arrive early to partake in the restaurant’s '4X4@4" happy hour. Monday through Friday, from 4:00 -7:00pm, stop by the bar for red and white wine selections, Sam Adams Lager, and Poste’s famous truffled frites, all for just $4.
Poste is located at 555 8th Street NW, near the Gallery Place-Chinatown Metro.
