The most prestigious major league soccer club in the U.S., our very own D.C. United, is hosting a “Singles Night,” providing an opportunity for single guys and gals to mingle with other fans and spectators like themselves.  On Friday, April 17th, please join the fans of D.C. United for a very special tailgate open to those who are single and ready to mingle!  The tailgate party will take place two hours prior to the game’s kick-off at 7:00p.m.  Bring your wing man, and purchase a “singles two pack” for $51.00 (including shipping charges).  The pre-game tailgate provides access to a live band, beer and drink vendors, and door prizes.  Singles in a group of 25 or more will be given their own tent and table.

If you meet someone interesting during the tailgate, don’t worry about losing them during the game! All singles who purchase tickets through this program will be sitting in the same area, section 335.  Following the game, a bar (location TBD) will be providing the ticket holders with drink specials for the rest of the night.  Just remember to keep your wristband on from the earlier tailgate!

RFK Stadium, home of the D.C. United

Since 1996, D.C. United has given soccer fans in the district a chance to support their local team.  The stadium is both metro accessible (Stadium Armory stop) and offers parking.  In the team’s 13 year history, “D.C. United has earned more domestic and international honors than any other American side, done battle against some of the world's most famous clubs and built a fiercely loyal and dedicated fan base that understands and appreciates world-class soccer.”

Purchase tickets in advance, grab your friends, and head out to the game that Friday for an opportunity to meet other single soccer fans like yourself.  It will be a great social event for everyone; an opportunity to see the New England Revolution walk away in defeat, and you just might walk away with a new friend.
