See glassblowers play with fire, creating glass art right before your eyes. Note: For the hearing impaired, student interpreters from SLCC-Florissant Valley sign glassblowing demos beginning at 6:30 p.m. Get your hands on glass. Make a paperweight, tile keepsake, or beads ($20 - $30). At 7 p.m. Union Avenue Opera performers give sneak peek preview of Verdi’s Il Trovatore. Then at 8 p.m. the Michael Jonas Band strums up bluegrass, new grass, and jazz. Third Degree East Gallery shows Dreamzine Dudes by Karen Woodard and Duck! New Glass by Jessica Kopitske.
