I had my doubts whether Nintendo of America could actually satisfy its customers when they announced that their Club Nintendo Rewards Program was going to have a cut off date to separate those who made it "gold" or "elite" status.  Today, emails were sent out to the lucky (and by lucky, I mean they bought a whole lot of Nintendo product, like I did; like a sucker) members and their rewards were as follows.

Platinum/Elite members have their choice of the following:

Doc Louis' Punch-Out!! - Remember all those times you wanted to punch Doc for not making sense?  Well, now's your chance in this exclusive WiiWare title for Platinum/Elite members only (not sure if they made US only too) to beat some sense into the iconic trainer.  I'm guessing he's going to be so hard, you're going to want throw a candy bar on the screen.

A Mario replica hat - Uh huh.  I'm sure it's a high quality replica and all, but they offered this in Japan last year.  Not really exclusive and I'm sure it would be hip in a nerdy kind of way to go out in public like that, but you can go on eBay to get it and still get the game.

Gold Members get:

A exclusive 2010 Nintendo calendar - Sure, it's got exclusive artwork and all, but this is Nintendo's way of saying, "buy more of our stuff so you won't be stuck with a stupid calendar."
