Death of an Angel, America’s Golden Girl, an All-American Beauty, and one and only California Girl
Farrah Fawcett’s first name meant “light” but it really should have mean “fair” as in the fairest of them all. The quintessential Texas-born beauty passed away at age 62 after a long battle with cancer. Farrah was born to be a beauty queen and long before Baywatch it was her and her famous photo sporting a red swimsuit that made her beauty iconic beyond just Hollywood. From the time she was a very young child Farrah possessed a blinding kind of beauty. The kind that happens naturally and only a few times in a century. Bridgit Bardot and Sophia Loren had this kind of heart stopping good looks in an earlier era but it was Farrah’s smile that captivated audiences in the 1970’s as Charlie’s angel Jill Monroe. By the time she left the series she was everyone’s angel. Farrah was epitome of the All-American beauty with the fresh face, long golden locks, and baby blue eyes that sparkled endlessly. Forget Pamela Anderson (she is Canadian anyway), it was always Farrah’s place as the gold standard of what a breathtakingly gorgeous California girl should look like. Now Farrah’s beauty belongs to the history books and her fame of the looks only God could bless a person with are recorded in photos taken over the years. Rest in peace Farrah. Thanks for sharing your light with us on camera.
