Just a short note to all you winelovers who may have no plans this afternoon.  One of Lodi's premier events takes place from 1-5 today on the shady grounds of the Wine and Roses event center.  Thisoutstanding event features over 40 award winning Lodi wineries along with food selections from some of the area's finest restaurants and caterers. Wine seminars, chef demonstrations, and live music are sprinkled throughout the venue.  There's a  Port, Cigar and Chocolate Pavilion is a great place to pair wine with some complimentary treats.  Tickets to this event $50 at the door if they're not already sold out---a list of wineries and food purveyeors, as well as ticket info can be had at their website: http://www.tasteoflodi.com/theevent.php
