Dogs are some of my favorite subjects to put into funnies. They're cute, lovable and have disgusting habits. I pulled these from my archives.
Dog-lovers already know they act like little people because they can be so demanding and yet very affectionate. I currently have a Chihuahua mix without the attitude--well, a little attitude, but nothing like a purebred Chihuahua which doesn't understand it could easily be stepped on when it tries to boss everyone around.
Previously I had a Pug and I have to say, personality wise, they are one of the best dogs to have. Unfortunately they have so many medical issues they can break your bank account to zero. Now-a-days they're remedying purebred issues by allowing interbreeding to create new breeds like Puggles--a combination of a Pug and a Beagle. I'd like to see them combine a cat with a dog somehow so you'd have a pet that would clean itself, purr and bark at potential burglers. Unfortunately, a cat-dog creation would use the litterbox and then also snack from it--ugh!
