The American Patriot's Bible is a combination of a New King James Bible (and all the helps that come with it) and a history of the United States, looking through the lens of Christianity. It is large, hard-cover, and has very readable print.

I am reviewing this book for Thomas Nelson publishers and I give it 5 stars. This Bible is perfect for those who want to study the Bible alongside of American history.

The preface includes a family records section, map of the US including dates of each state’s induction, an area to fill in Military and Public service, and family deaths. It includes a well-written Call to Action. There are lots of full-color inserts containing articles on themes such as:

  • Christianity in Colonial America
  • Faith of our Founders
  • American Revolution
  • The Great Awakening
  • Christianity in American Education
  • Civil War
  • Monuments to American Patriotism
  • World War II
  • Equal Rights
  • Famous Christian Americans

This Bible will make a wonderful gift for anyone who is patriotic -- I'm giving it to my mother-in-law for Mother's Day.  There is no mistaking the Christian roots upon which our country was founded.
