Got the blahs?

I do.

I woke up out of sorts.

Don’t know why.

I feel…..

…..the way you feel when summer is over.

……the way you feel at the ocean when all the cottages are boarded up.

Nothing severe...just blah.

Oswald Chambers says, "We are earthlings, yet the Bible says are citizens of heaven. This world may not be our home, but it is our residence." (Philippians 3:20)

Maybe that’s why I feel this way.

“We are to live in the world, but we are not to be of the world. And since joy is one of our distinctives, laughter is appropriate even though we are surrounded by all manner of wrong and wickedness. It can get a little confusing.”

A brilliant movie depicts exactly this: Beauty in the midst of a lot of yuck!

The movie is Bella.  I highly recommend it. This movie is filled with lovely characterization and lots of metaphors about redemption. I see Christ all over this movie, and you will too.

Now that’s something that moves me out of the blahs!
